Stop Google from Invading your Privacy

Some time ago, Google announced that it would start using information from your Google account in its advertisements across the web. Under a program, it dubbed " Shared Endorsements", your photo, name and other personal information can be used to promote Google services within your network of friends. Unless you change your preferences, Google will begin using your info in its ads.
Just imagine you endorsing a product which you are not even aware of. Scary, ah. Do not worry.

Lets put a full stop to this. Stop your info from being used by Google. Respect your own privacy even if Google doesn't give a damn care to it.

1. Make sure you are logged into Google account.
2. Click on Privacy(below your profile photo)
3. Under Tools and Information, click visit Google account settings.
4. Click Edit settings under Google+ Settings.
5. Click on Shared Endorsements and then uncheck the box at the bottom of the page.
Do not forget to click Save.

Disable Sponsored Ads from Yahoo mail for free

If you still use Yahoo mail, then one thing you would have seen and definitely got irritated is the Sponsored Ads. It comes as the 1st mail in your inbox and just refuses to go. even you manage to delete it, another new ad comes back. No idea why yahoo does this. One more reason to stop using yahoo and shift loyalties to gmail.
On top of this, Yahoo charges $50 if you need ad free mail box. That's outrageously ridiculous. There should be a limit for greediness from Yahoo. Are they not realizing that they are losing out market share in this regard to Google.
We cannot argue with Yahoo, but lest we can save ourselves some money & irritation by installing a free Add-on in firefox and removing this junk- sponsored ad.

Just download the above mentioned add-on in your firefox browser. This will not only remove Sponsored Ads but also hides the Ads panel in the right side of Yahoo mail.

Happy Browsing Ad-free Yahoo Mail.
